The story of Lavatec in Barreirinhas began on November 3rd, 2005, when Manoel Mendonça, a former partner of the renowned LAVAMATIC with 50 years of industry experience, decided to settle in the city in search of a better quality of life.
Bringing deep laundry expertise with him, he founded São Lucas Serviços LTDA, giving rise to Lavatec and starting a successful journey in the Lençóis Maranhenses region.
What began as a life project became the most complete and reliable laundry in the region, uniting the tradition of a strong name with constant innovation. Today, Lavatec is recognized for its excellence, commitment and partnership with clients across many segments.
In 2026, the company took another step in its expansion with the opening of the Tutóia store, the first location outside Barreirinhas.
